I-35 double-decked freeway map Below are pictures from the roadside and overpasses along the double-decked and elevated sections of I-35 South, roughly proceeding north from Laredo St. to W Houston St.  The double-deck was built in the late '80s.  The elevated section was built in the late '80s as part of the same project and replaced the original elevated structure.  The lower level from Guadalupe St. to Nogalitos St. was the second freeway built in San Antonio.  I-10 also runs concurrent with I-35 along this section.
