"Downtown Y" interchange location map Below are pictures from the roadside of the "Downtown Y" interchange of I-10 and I-35 just west of downtown.  The interchange was first constructed in the early '50s and was the first major interchange in San Antonio.  It was completely rebuilt in the late '80s as part of the double-decking of I-10 and I-35.

The ramp to Santa Rosa St. is at ground level in front of us.  The next ramp above it (left to right) are the ramps from I-35 northbound and Martin St. to I-10 West.  Above that (with the no right turn sign) is the exit ramp to Martin St. from I-35 northbound.  To the left of that are the I-35 mainlanes.

This ramp is also known as the "Finesilver Curve", named for the Finesilver Building at left.
